AUSTIN AND SAN ANTONIO
Nov. 3rd from 5pm to 8pm
Every month, we will feature a local artist and interior designer. Rooms will be designed around pieces of the artist’s collection with other pieces displayed in a gallery setting. Enjoy the sounds from local musicians while discovering each room’s unifying features. Food and beverages will be served. All work will be on display and for sale for the remainder of the month.
We will feature the art of Keely Carnahan.
Keely Carnahan is a San Antonio painter and teacher, having received her Bachelor of Fine Art-BFA from University of Texas with a concentration in painting and Texas teaching certification in Art EC-12. She currently teaches art full time at a distinguished San Antonio charter school. Noble Art began in 2007 and the Noble Art Ministry in 2015. Our ability to paint at charity events to serve the community through donations has been the most rewarding part of the ministry. The mission has always been to present our gifts to the Lord (Romans 12) and We believe that God is blessing this ministry.
The featured designer is Scott Roberson, LSTI.
Scott Roberson has been in the furniture industry since graduating from Sul Ross State University and just recently celebrated his twelfth year with Louis Shanks here in Austin. He is a member of the National Interior Design Society and has a passion for Stickley Furniture as well as both the European and American Arts and Crafts movements of the late 1800’s.
Musical entertainment will be provided by the Alex Ruiz Trio featuring David Perales on violin and Jose Tejeda on Guitar and vocals Alex Ruiz guitar and vocals
We will feature the art of Marcy Ann Villfaña.
Marcy was born in Southern, California in 1968. She currently resides north of Austin, Texas in Cedar Park. Working in a variety of mediums, including charcoal, conté, paper, a variety of paint types, photography, and graphic design, Marcy Ann has been exhibiting and selling her art since the late 80s. Currently she is enjoying a rebirth of her creative outlets. Marcy Ann is exploring an old love for drawing through anatomical studies of bone and muscle and perfecting, leading to enhancements in the quality of her paper art, which is now driving the exploration into the three-dimensional area.
The featured designer is Idalia Garcia, LSTI.
Idalia enjoys listening to her clients needs, wants, and desires when is comes to making their homes things of beauty. She earns her client’s trust quickly and turns their living space into anything from traditional excellence to contemporary clean.
The musician for this event will be George DeVore.
